"Crisis Unveiled: The Escalation of Terrorism Gripping Our Nation"
Security forces killed three terrorists during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in the area of Tirah of District Khyber (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). According to ISPR, during the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the troops and terrorists which also resulted in the killing of terrorist commander Kifayat Tor Adnan. According to the report during exchange of firing four Pakistan Army personnel including Lt Colonel were embarrassed martyrdom. Earlier, Mianwali Airbase was also targeted by the Terrorist group in which 09 terrorists were sent to hell by security forces. Terrorists have also attacked in the Southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Since the Taliban have come into power in Afghanistan, terrorist activities increased in Pakistan. Although, the incidents of terrorism were low in the reign of Ashraf Ghani and earlier Hamid Karzai.
The number of martyrdoms of Pak Army and Police personnel is the highest in Pakistan this year since last eight years. The most worrying thing is that the terrorist masterminds want to harm Pakistan as much as possible. To achieve this goal, they are targeting security installations and security forces of Pakistan. Various terrorist groups are following the agenda of subverting the state structure by creating chaos, unrest and fear in Pakistan, the recent statements of the top officials of the interim government of Afghanistan have brought the facts to disclose their thoughts that were previously unknown to the public. The attitude, policy and ambitions of the TTP leadership have also been clarified. These people who pretend to be Pakistanis have revealed their agenda by becoming a tool of Afghanistan. Terrorist groups increase their terrorist activities in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. They are making every possible effort to target the Pakistan Army directly or indirectly. Out of the 24 suicide bombers in Pakistan in the last few months, 14 of them were Afghan nationals while the rest belonged to various areas of the tribal area FATA.
Pakistan gave shelter to the refugees coming from Afghanistan with an open heart, fought the case of these refugees on every international and local forum, but at the end what was the reward? No need to discuss it.
Pakistan has decided to send back illegal Afghan refugees to Afghanistan. The basis of the recent decision of the government is to overcome the economic, security challenges and to prevent the influx of more refugees and especially illegal immigrants into Pakistan. It is obvious that the continuous stay of Afghan refugees in Pakistan is causing threats to national security and economy. Every government in Afghanistan has been using the nationalism card in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, while Punjab, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir have been using the religious card. The current interim government of Afghanistan is also working on the same policy, the simple-minded people of Pakistan are victims of this double policy and always give the benefit of the doubt to Afghanistan. But now this double policy has been exposed. Afghanistan is using a part of the Afghan refugees for its own purposes, many simple Pakistanis are also being used in ignorance.
Terrorist masterminds and strategists are using Afghan refugees as a launch pad, harboring terrorists entering Pakistan, hiding their weapons and suicide jackets etc. Facilitating their delivery to their targets. This can only be possible and done by residents living in Pakistan for years. Most of the Afghan migrants have been involved in illegal activities in Pakistan, robbery, kidnapping for ransom and murder.
A person in order to do a visit in any foreign country or to do business or reside, it is necessary to obtain tourist, work visas or residence permits. Those living without such documents are considered illegal. This is the law which applies throughout the world.
The number of undocumented people living in Pakistan is estimated to be six million, most of whom are from Afghanistan. Some citizens from India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Africa and Central Asian states are also living here illegally.
Pakistan is one of the countries whose northwest border system has many flaws and weaknesses, anyone can cross the Pak-Afghan border without any legal documents. The main reason is the laxity of the country's laws and the negligence of the concerned authorities. No other country gives such freedom as the foreigners enjoy in Pakistan. Today, the loss of relaxation given on the borders for four decades is that everywhere foreigners are roaming around and flouting the country's laws.
The matter gets more importance because of that illegal immigrants have become a threat not only to law and order, but also to national security of the country. After the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan, there is no justification left for Afghan citizens to stay here, nor Government of Afghanistan prevent its citizens from returning to their homeland. The Government of Afghanistan also has no right to demand that its citizens stay in Pakistan.
