Pakistan Air Force - Induction Ceremony of J-10C fighter Jets

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) marked a significant milestone on Tuesday with the induction of a new fleet of J-10C fighter jets, further enhancing the nation's aerial defense capabilities.


According ISPR Press release, the announcement came during an induction and operationalization ceremony held at a PAF operational base.


Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir graced the ceremony as the chief guest, and upon his arrival, he was warmly welcome by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chief of the Air Staff. The event served as a platform to showcase the PAF's newly acquired weapon systems and defense assets.


In his address, COAS General  Asim Munir commended the operational readiness of the PAF, acknowledging their incorporation of state-of-the-art weapon systems that have significantly contributed to maintaining a regional balance of power. Air Chief Marshal Sidhu, during his speech, highlighted recent additions to the PAF's arsenal, including J-10C fighter jets, air mobility platforms, modern radars, unmanned aerial systems, loitering munition capabilities, and long-range vectors. These advancements have notably strengthened the country's aerial defense capabilities.


Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also mentioned the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Air Mobility & Aviation Safety, the College of Air Defence, and the revitalization of the Air Power Centre of Excellence. These initiatives, along with the operationalization of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, have equipped the PAF to stay abreast of evolving challenges.

CAS Sidhu underscored the progress made by the PAF in the realms of cyber and space technologies, ensuring a robust defense for the nation. Emphasizing the importance of indigenization and human resource development, COAS Munir expressed wholehearted endorsement of the PAF's commitment to technological advancements and operational excellence. He reassured that the Armed Forces of Pakistan stand fully prepared to thwart any aggression. COAS Munir also commended the PAF's humanitarian efforts in transporting relief goods for the victims of the Gaza conflict.


Following the ceremony, an air show unfolded, featuring various PAF fighter jets, training aircraft, and UAVs. The chief guest and attendees had the opportunity to witness a static display showcasing the diverse PAF fighter, air mobility, and UAV fleet. The event underscored the PAF's commitment to modernization, preparedness, and excellence in safeguarding the nation's airspace.
