Humanitarian Crisis Unveiled: The Ongoing Forced Displacement of Palestinians

Palestinian Exodus: Understanding the Causes of Forced Displacement

"Israel has agreed on a four-hour daily ceasefire to allow palestinians to evacuate from northern gaza. The Israeli army has been carrying out air strikes in addition to ground fighting in gaza, which has resulted in more than 10,000 Palestinian martyrs since October 17".

Global powers have been silent on the genocide of palestinians in gaza, while on the other hand, the support of Muslim countries is currently limited to verbal contributions and financial assistance. Western leaders are suffering from double standards for not condemning the deaths of civilians. The western world's silence seems to be an equal participant in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip. No one is going to hold Israel's hand, while it openly violates international law. The International Humanitarian and Aid organizations "Red Cross" call for an end to the long and horrific bombing on civilians in Gaza, calling it a moral bankruptcy and a moral failure of International communities for the deaths of thousands of children in Gaza.

Israel has completely besieged the Gaza Strip. One million Palestinians from the Northern areas of Gaza have been told to leave Gaza. Thousands of Palestinians have left their homes for Egypt. Thousands of buildings have been razed to the ground, electricity, water and gas have been completely cut off.

Even after the 1967 War, the Palestinians had to endure the trauma of losing their homeland, but now the limit has been crossed, human genocide continues brazenly in Palestine and Gaza. Today, the United Nations and the General Assembly have made complete silence and have no power on the Palestinian cause. The United Nations first passed a resolution in December 1948 that Palestinians could return to their homes and settle on their lands, but it was not implemented. Rather, once again they are being forced to migrate. If we look back in history, we will know that the Israeli aggression on Palestine started with the end of the Ottoman Caliphate. At that time, only four percent of Palestine had been settled by Jews, which they had bought from the natives, but when they offered £1.5 million to Caliph Sultan Abd al-Hamid II for extensive Jewish settlement, he immediately rejected that offer.

After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Herbert Samuel was appointed as the first Jewish Commissioner for Palestine by Great Britain, it became much easier for the Jews to occupy Palestinian land. He handed over the Ministry of Education and Agriculture to the Jews to restrict the educational future of the youth of Palestine as well as their financial future. Where loans and special grants were issued for the Jews, on the other hand, heavy taxes were imposed on the Palestinians, and then their lands were seized due to these taxes. In just a few years, the biggest violation of human rights was done by grabbing fifty thousand acres of land from 8,000 farmers on the outskirts of Palestine, they were evicted from their lands. Jewish armed groups moved across the world to Palestine . Arms were distributed to the local Jews and Palestinians were sentenced to death for carrying weapons, and their land was confiscated and punished, treating agricultural equipment as weapons. In spite of so many atrocities, the Jews occupied only 6.5% of the area until 1947, but when the Palestine issue was discussed for the first time in the United Nations, a partition formula was presented to solve this problem. According to which, by giving fifty-five percent of Palestine to the illegal occupier of six percent, the biggest human rights violation made in history for the second time. In order to occupy only six percent of Palestine, the Jews had to massacre people and human rights for many years, faces loss of life and property, they had to make conspiracies, but The United Nations (whose purpose was to save future generations from the scourge of war, protect basic human rights, promote free space and collective development) has shown great skill and without shedding a drop of blood he decreed half a state for the Jews. Not only this, but the same United Nations General Assembly in its resolution number 672,242-2334 declared the Israeli occupation illegal. In the same General Assembly Resolution No. 43/37, the Israeli occupation has been declared illegitimate and the Palestinian resistance has been justified. It clearly states that the Palestinians have the right to resist using all available means, including weapons. It is as like, friendship and enmity are being developed together.

After the creation of Pakistan, the founder of Pakistan in a letter addressed to the American President declared that the establishment of the Israel state is a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and he appealed to the American President to stop the partition. Later, in the last session of the All India Muslim League held on 14 and 15 December 1947, the partition of Palestine was rejected. The US has fully supported Israel over the Palestinians and has pressured the Palestinians to give up their basic right of self-determination, in many different ways, most notably by giving the Palestinians a 'statelet'. By rendering, it has no real control over its borders, waters, defenses or population. The Palestinians have never been offered a viable, contiguous, fully independent state. On the other hand, Israel will never accept the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their land, because doing so would make Israel essentially a Jewish minority state.

A two-state solution is generally presented as the only viable long-term solution, but there are many obstacles. Israel annexed East Jerusalem in 1980 in violation of international law. With this move, the US has clearly sided with Netan Yahu's position and ended any hope of a Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, but Jerusalem and its status are not the only obstacle. Virtually all stakeholders except Hamas are committed to a two-state solution. Israel is a state and the hand of the state cannot be stopped by individuals, but by the state, therefore the United Nations and world powers should realize their responsibility.
